Philippe Starck
Philippe Starck needs no introduction - he's undoubtedly the world's most revered living designer. "I like to open the doors to people's brains".
For four decades, he has liberally spread his creativity and ideas across the design landscape, putting his mark on everything from toothbrushes, motorbikes, sanitary ware, restaurants and even the presidential Elysee Palace. He is one of the originators of the boutique hotel interior, and currently putting finishing touches to the ultra-grand Royal Monceau Hotel in Paris.
Philippe's influence on the way we live now is everywhere – in our uses of colour, materials and space, and in our desire for good design at every juncture. In 1999, Starck joined forces with John Hitchcox to establish YOO. Their aim: to create truly extraordinary living spaces. His brand at YOO, YOO inspired by Starck, has seen the successful completion of over 20 projects around the world.

Sussanne Khan
"I hope to offer new dimensions in creativity to the global market”.
Sussanne Khan has practised the art of design for 15 years. She is the founder of India’s leading conceptual interior design store, “The Charcoal Project”. The store came to life in 2011 and changed the meaning of curated interior design in India.
A victim of a curious mind, Sussanne used her imagination and talents to create diverse design stories inspired by the history of art and architecture through the ages. Her signature is a seamless blending of industrial masculine tone with feminine classical shabby chic.
Sussanne Khan obtained an Associate Art Degree in Interior Design from Brooks College, Long Beach, California in the year 1995.
Today, she straddles the world of fusion architecture, interior design play and original product design. All these disciplines always remain true to her foundation philosophy ‘It’s all in the details’. She coined a unique term that best describes her efforts in creativity “To charcoal”, or in other words, “To make a thing come alive”.
Sussanne’s design projects include private residences, retail spaces, corporate offices, destination villas and architectural concepts.
